The restoration of safe, affordable homes on the Mississippi Gulf Coast remains a priority for the Disaster Recovery Division. Although the housing crisis that existed after Katrina has ended, some housing issues still remain. As a result, there is a continued focus on long-term housing recovery, specifically affordability needs of lower-income residents.
